The lady that helped us was great. She knew exactly what type of mattress I needed for my fibro. I'm so thankful for her, maybe now I can actually sleep at night.
If you have any problems with a mattress that you buy from Mattress Firm, it is impossible to get it warranted. You get a run around and every time you do what they ask, they will tell you that you need to do something else for the warranty claim.
On July 3rd I went to the Mattress Firm store that I bought the mattress from to check on filing a warranty claim. I filled out some paper work and was told I would be contacted by mail with in 4-6 weeks. 6 weeks passed and I was not contacted. I went back to the store, told them that I had not been contacted. I was told to file my claim again. I did so and was told again that I would be contacted by mail in 4-6 weeks. Aging, 6 weeks past and I was not contacted. I returned to the store and again was told I'd need to file again. After filing a 3rd time I was told to wait another 4-6 weeks. This time after no contact information called Mattress Firms customer service number. Told them the situation. I was told by customer service that I would have to either pay $35 for an inspector to come to my home or buy a self inspection kit for $25. The customer service representative told me that self inspection was the fastest and most efficient way of doing. I paid the $25 for an inspection kit.
I would recommend that you buy a mattress from anywhere but here. I don't have a problem with this or any specific Mattress Firm store. The problems come after buying the mattress.
As of now I'm waiting on a new set of pictures to be reviewed for my claim. I'm not expecting them to warranty my mattress. They will either denie my claim or tell me I have to do more for the inspection. I am to the point of going to a different store and buying a new mattress.
My wife and I where looking to buy a new mattress. We began looking the week after Christmas of 2015. We went to 6 other 7 stores. We found that most store were within a few dollars of each other on the price of a new mattress. We decided to buy from Mattress Firm because they could deliver a mattress faster than any of the other stores we visited. All the other stores were telling us it would be a week or longer before delivery. Mattress Firm said they could deliver the next day. We bought our new mattress from Mattress Firm on 1/1/16 and we're sleeping on two days later.
And for anyone wondering, it's not the mattress manufacturer that's giving me this run around. The warranty has to handled through the store and Mattress Firm is who is giving the run around.

In late June of 2016 I noticed that the mattress had an area about where my waste would lay in the bed the felt as if there was a hole in the upper padding. The area was about 4-5 inches wide, 18 inches long and 2-3 inches deep. The area was bad enough that I could not sleep well and woke up with a sore back.
A week later the kit arrived in the mail. I followed the instructions with the kit and did everything it said. I uploaded 12 pictures to the website as the instructions said and was told to check with on the status of my claim in 3-5 day. On the 4th day I called to check the status of the claim. I was told that my claim was being denied due to a possible stain on the mattress. I looked at the pictures I had taken and did not see a stain but a shadow. I explained this to the representative. He then told me that the claim was going to be denied because the problem area was not bad enough for a warranty claim. After explaining in more detail the problem with the mattress, I was told I needed to upload more photos or possibly pay the $35 for an inspector to come to my home to look at the mattress.
