So glad to have a Harbor Freight in Auburn Opelika. I go there for any tools I need to work on my own vehicle. Friendly staff.
Very disappointed in their customer service. We called looking for a high demand item. Sales associate asked for our name and said he would hold it for us. By the way we didn't ask him to he offered. We drove an hour away just to get the item and was told they didn't have anymore. The manager never apologized for the inconvenience in any way. Why tell your customers you'll hold an item knowing they are on the road for it and then sell it. It's simply BAD customer service. I'm very disappointed in Harbor Freight and it's management.
Most Harbor Freights are pretty much identical, and that's a good thing. This one is on the smaller side, but has all the essentials. There's unquestionably a place in the market in general and in the Auburn-Opelika area for HF. This one had plenty of stock, even of hot sale or freebie items, before Irma swept through, while other stores did not. Usually no wait to check out, and prices, like at all HFs, are solid. Walmart can't beat the cheap you'll find here.
Great place to shop and get some free items too.
