You just can't go wrong here. Always great good. The wait can be a little longer than you'd like but they turnaround quickly. Avoid peak times and you'll be in and out full and satisfied.
In all honesty it may just have been one of those days... BUT food came out cold 45 min after ordering.. was told there was a 15 min wait time on my fried apples or I could get something else.. we never got the biscuits... and even tho I saw people around us receive them.. I was told they were holding I those too. I managed to get 1 refill on my coffee from another server... just bad all the way around. After we payed an were leaving a bus pulled up... good luck... anyways even tho this place is 1.5 miles away from my house... I seriously doubt I will ever return
Never once has my order been correct from this location. A real shame as I love Cracker Barrel and work right around the corner. Togo order times are not even close to accurate either.
I haven't eaten at a cracker barrel before, and I had an interesting first experience. I ordered the pork chop, which was excellent and tender. As I was eating the mash potatoes that came with it, I found some hard black piece of burnt plastic or something in it. I told the manager, and he profusely apologized. He gave me a fresh order of potatoes, and he even compensated me for the whole meal. Aside from the initial surprise, my food was tasty, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I hope to eat here again, but maybe without the plastic.
By far the worst service I've ever received at a restaurant. We were there for over two hours (for no good reason). Spent 80% of that with empty cups. Everyone around us came and left time and time again before we put our order in and another time again before our food came out. Our server was completely MIA and when we had to ask for refills from another server were met with no apologies, an eye roll from a manager coming out of the kitchen and unbelievable attitude the rest of the time we were there. Zero eye contact, dropped stuff off without stopping or asking if we needed something else. Our server showed up mid kitchen conversation with his co-workers and never once apologized for the delay or so much as conversed with us. I'm always the last person to complain, but that was just absolutely ridiculous.
