Food seems greasy to me. Fries not good.
Was typical Guthries not bad but only got 4 really small chicken fingers in my 'box' Will try Tendachick next

I wanted to find an authentic small place in Auburn. I found Guthries,
Just went there today. It wasn't my best Guthrie's visit. They made me pay $0.27 for a water (first time I've ever had to pay for a water in a restaurant in the US). I caught the cashier lady picking her nose a couple times (and there was no hand-washing after her nasal expedition). I overheard a condescending tone and bad attitude from another employee on the phone taking an order. They only half-fill the already tiny special sauce containers which cost $0.33. It also took them longer than usual to prepare the food. The only cool thing about the visit was that I saw former Obama press secretary Robert Gibbs there (probably in town for the Auburn-Ole Miss game). I didn't recognize him in time to heckle him, unfortunately.
It's just ok. The food was hot and good but the atmosphere was dull and weird. The people taking orders were uninterested and snobby. I'd rather eat at Chick-fila......This place didn't impress me, especially being in a college campus town. I just expected more from an icon type college town fav.
