I've been using the free grocery pickup service twice, and I love it. Mostly, it's because I don't have to go fight my way through the Christmas shoppers for my groceries. And the pickup employees are friendlier than the cashiers are. Expect a 2-3 star experience if you're going into the store.
Don't expect anybody to answer the phone and if you're lucky to find somebody in the department seize the moment. But once you get a hold of somebody they tend to be very helpful and very nice. In specialty departments like technology, most Associates are devoid of any real knowledge. There are a few exceptions who tend to be incredibly knowledgeable and helpful.
I had a wonderful experience when I came into pick up my order! My personal shopper was Asia. She met me with my package and a beautiful smile. There are never enough cashiers working the registers, so you have to wait up to 20 minutes just to check out during peak hours! However, this is one of the few stores that actually permit customers to use the self checkouts past 9pm. This way there is only one attendant required to supervise all of the registers. So, it's great until you get one of those "Please wait for assistance" messages.
I have been to at least 51 plus Super WalMarts across the world;) There were no con at this Super Walmart that were obvious. The pros is that it was convenient to my location. I would likely recommend this Super Walmart just because you are in the area.
